Smart Chicken Coop Inspection Robot

The chicken coop inspection robot is an intelligent inspection device designed for modern poultry farms. Its core function is to replace manual labor by performing environmental monitoring within the chicken coop, checking the health status of the flock, and identifying equipment malfunctions, thereby enabling efficient, unmanned management.

Core features

Automatically identify sick, weak, dead, disabled, and low-producing chickens; automatically monitor dynamic temperature data in the chicken coop and report data in real time. The Nine Herdsman AI-powered intelligent cleaning system uses all-laser positioning and navigation to meet 24-hour operational requirements, enabling rapid floor cleaning even during unmanned night shifts, effectively removing dust, feathers, and liquid residues to purify the chicken coop environment. Robot sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and harmful gases such as ammonia, while also detecting equipment issues like water line leaks and feed trough shortages.

Key advantages

Laser navigation plus automatic obstacle avoidance—perfectly suited for narrow passages and multi-level chicken cages in poultry houses. Operates with low noise, minimizing disturbance to the flock. Offers an endurance of 8–16 hours, with real-time data uploaded to the cloud and alerts triggered in case of anomalies.

Core Values

Reduce the workload of manual inspections by 90%, lower the risk of disease transmission, and support the digitalization and precision of livestock farming. Suitable for both large-scale steel-structure chicken houses and upgrades to traditional chicken houses.

Customized process

We look forward to working with you—not only in technical collaboration but also in strategic co-evolution, jointly steering the livestock industry toward a new future characterized by technology-driven innovation, mutually beneficial outcomes, and sustainable development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chicken coops are prone to rust and have a short lifespan—how can you choose a durable model?

Choose hot-dip galvanized steel with a coating weight of ≥60 g/㎡ or aluminum-zinc coated steel, with a service life of 10–15 years; avoid thin-electro-galvanized steel (5–8 years). Use laser welding for weld points to prevent cracking, and check for rust prevention monthly.

How can we solve the problems of chicken cage mesh deformation and chickens getting their feet stuck?

For layer cages, the steel wire diameter shall be ≥2.5mm; for broiler cages, it shall be ≥3.0mm. The bottom mesh shall have a slat opening rate of ≥85% and feature an anti-slip design. Replace immediately if any deformation occurs to prevent secondary injuries.

What should I do if the chicken coop is deformed or damaged?

Immediately disable and replace to prevent chickens from getting their feet trapped or injured. For components with minor deformations, correct them first and then apply rust-proof treatment; for severely deformed parts, discard them directly.

The middle layer of the tiered chicken coop has poor ventilation and high ammonia levels—how can this be improved?

Layered ventilation (top negative-pressure fans + side-window air deflectors): temperature difference between layers ≤ 2℃. Manure removal 1–2 times daily; weekly disinfection with quaternary ammonium salts, followed by thorough air-drying after disinfection.

Are pecking at feathers, fighting, and chicken cages related? How can this be addressed?

Relevant factors include high density and the absence of enrichment facilities, which can easily trigger pecking behavior. Use enrichment-type cages; for laying hens, the density should be ≥450 cm³ per bird. Supplement feed with methionine and vitamins to reduce feather pecking.

Chicken coops are prone to mold growth—how can we prevent it?

Prevent water leakage along the water line to keep the cage dry; clean weekly with a neutral detergent and allow to air-dry. Maintain a humidity level of 50%-70% in the chicken coop, and regularly remove mold spots.

How should I deal with rust spots on chicken cages, and what precautions can I take in daily life?

Lightly sand with fine-grit sandpaper, then apply an epoxy zinc-rich primer followed by a topcoat. Inspect welds and joints monthly, and in humid areas, apply an additional nano-antibacterial and anti-rust coating.
